I find it very inconvenient to try to follow a conversation by jumping between weblogs. Using USENET with a news reader that organizes the posts by thread seems to me to be a far more convenient way to follow a conversation. First, all the postings are presented together,in order. Second, the news reader shows me only the posts I haven't read yet. If we could combine the good points of weblogs with the good points of threaded news readers, that would be a big improvement.
