Now what?
| | The old joke about comedy goes like this: |
| | What's the secret of comed |
| | Got back from L.A. about 30 minutes ago. I leave for Toronto in 12 hours. I need to finish my work on the June issue of Linux Journal, return about a dozen calls, get down to the shop to see if my laptop is ready (and hopefully, if not, swap hard drives with this one), and a huge pile of other stuff, including packing for the trip. |
| | First thing I found in my office was a swarm of termites crawling out of the wood behind my desk. Next was that the Net was down. |
| | Ah well. It's beautiful here. Flowers, sun, warmth, green... |
| | So let's pretend I'm not complaining. |
| | I vacuumed up the termites, taped over their holes and called the landlord (nice things to have sometimes, landlords). Then I reset the cable thingie and the router/hub thingie and now we're back on the air. |
| | If yours is among the 345 emails that just came down, hope I get to it soon. |
| | Later, dudes. Not too much later, though... |
