Yes they aren't making these any more. Buy em where you can find em. The Sony 7600 is the follow on, it's smaller but has the same synch detection. Or you could would for the drm's to come on line. This weekend for those of you on the East Coast is the annual fun and games at the winter swl fest. www.swlfest.com VOA and Merlin (the folks that run the BBC's transmitters) are doing a demo of DRM (digital radio over shortwave)
