Think naked
Cluetrain gets a top-tier plug at Personalization.com. Looking around the site, I found a fine editorial by a certain Cluetrain co-author. The key line: What matters is motive. People know when you're dissing them anyway. On the Web, it's even more obvious. All our pants are down around our shoes.
From 'shine to wine
Doug Paul is an old pal from my Radio Daze in North Carolina. You know him, too. His is a voice that launched a thousand sit-coms, plus pretty much everything else at some point or another. He's an exceptionally talented voiceover guy and all-around creative producer. These days you'll hear him doing the PAX TV network, among other things.
Anyway, he's a vintner, too. He and his wife Sharon have been developing Three Sisters Vinyards up in Dahlonega, Georgia.
And they're starting to get some ink Or pixels. Or both. Whatever.
The best line (this from the Georgia Extension Service):
Grape growers have found the rolling north Georgia hills perfect for growing grapes. A region once known for brewing great 'shine is now producing some fine wine.
So: my congratulations. Can't wait to try out the new product.
Maybe da-glo orange and silver are illegal inks in the U.K.
The Cluetrain book gets a nice recommendation at the Bol.com online bookstore.
I have no idea why they didn't run the same cover on the U.K. version of the book.
Hey, if it weren't for inquisitive idiots, there wouldn't be a book business
Despair.com has come out with a Cluelessness poster. The caption: There are no stupid questions. But there are a lot of inquisitive idiots.
