After the third or fourth telemarketing call I got today (two of which used that despised word 'courtesy' in justifying their discourteous behavior), I think that "Courtesy Call" should be added to the canon of oxymorons (along with jumbo shrimp and military intelligence and others of that ilk). Heck, I don't know if Courtesy Call is another blog name candidate. I suppose it should be in the hands of someone whose verbal style runs towards incisive invective.
