5pm NASA briefing discounts gear door open theory. The temperature rise is telling you something but the question is what? However there is a report that is "impounded" about the impact of foam on shuttle titles, that was done a few years back. Consider you have a piece that is foam mixed with ice, and it hits the side of the shuttle with a wt of 2 lbs. You do the math. If it hit's the door of the wheel and strips off title you get what occured Saturday. Nuff said, we have the cause, no the blame game starts
