Hi doc, I've been reading your recent entries on digital identity and related issues and I think it's great that you're focusing on such an important issue. I wonder, though, if you haven't missed a huge and important group who have been working on this for years. For the crypto people this is not new territory in the least. Check out a local Montreal company that made a big splash a couple of years ago called Zero Knowledge. I haven't kept track of exactly what they're up to now, but they had a product out there that was all about managing anonymity, pseudonymity and such in flexible, variable ways.
