Free and fair elections? Now there's a thought
I thought Venezuela had an election which put Hugo Chavez in power--am I wrong? Of course, we had an election which allowed the Supreme Court to put Bush in power--but I don't think even the Venezuelan election was that screwed up. Anyway, here's a link from a friend's weblog on the question of whether we're seeing labor or capital on strike in Venezuela--he believes it's the latter, and the discussion thread is long, varied, argumentative, and interesting.
