Saying blogs are no different than what has come before is like claiming the motor-vehicle (and it's democratisation) was no advance or made no significant difference as a few had been using carriages for centuries before. It's a fatuous observation from Meta. There's very little that is new, it's just being done better, faster or by more people than in the past. You can dismiss any change with this approach, if you want. My question is, what is it about blogs that Meta seeks to marginalise. Hamish.
