Hi, Frank: Well put. As I understood the original topic, it was about weblogging for hire without disclosure: good or bad? My comment was directed at the general ethical considerations of the topic at hand. Doc was apologizing for both not disclosing financial interest, and for not disclosing payment for speaking at an event. You're directing your comment to one aspect of the discussion, and I agree with you on that point.
