I gave this subject a lot of thought when I was writing the Weblog Handbook; I chose to excerpt the result, a proposed Code of Weblog Ethics, on my site. I think this really was an easy mistake to make and, in retrospect, an easy mistake to avoid. kudos on your forthrightness in discussing the issues that have come up, doc.
