That's a good explanation (although I'm not comfortable with being "the most conspicuous example of integrity in the blogging world" when I hardly play that role for myself). It's also worth noting that you brought up the issue privately, with permission to use your email in a public response. That spared us any "Dave attacks Doc" stuff that might have come up.
