Frank, good point, one would expect the NY Times to be an advocate for the city of New York. They wear that conflict of interest on their masthead. But does Doc have an equivalent interest in Microsoft? Honestly, no fucking way, after reading him for years. That's why what Doc did is so powerful. It allows us to examine the integrity issue without offending the person we're talking about. He's already issued a mea culpa, so that's behind us.
