| | I *doubt* that you'll find another show this year as wired and blogged out as we'll be (maybe Pop!Tech — i'll be interested to see). As far as I know, we're breaking new ground....not only will we have the whole damn place wi-fi'd for like a 5 block area, but we're also providing an RSS aggregator that folks can sign up for to have their blogs linked in the feed.....it'll be nice having experienced programmers and bloggers there (like Dave Winer, Halley, Doc, Rageboy, Dr. Weinberger, AKMA) to tell us how we can improve things for next year... |

| | Fercrissake, just get over the end of the record label business as the owner of the content -- labels should go into business with the bands, promoting them in exchange for a share of total revenue (and bands should decide what that fair share is or if they even want to do business with a label). Maybe the guys in the nice suits should try hiring fewer lawyers and start thinking of how to change with the times. |

Since you've got a Manila based blog - I've been getting used to clicking on the 'comment' button for most replys - but since you don't have a comment button, I guess 'discuss' will have to do.
My eldest and I biked over to Pac-Bell Park today - and just when we got there - Barry Bonds hit a homer - and I thought of you and JD sitting there - surrounded by THOSE people. The Giants lost BTW - if you care.
Anyway what you didn't say was: - in fact - Taplin is fairly well hated in Hollywood anyway - and that he's been attacking them for years
- that Taplin claims he went from being offered 1,500 films to 15 - I'd like to clarify or confirm that claim
- that said, it must have been fun to watch him there - and watch them all realize he'd just suckered them
THEN, I'd like to say:
We later went to see xXx (me for the 2nd time, he for the 1st) and have Korean BBQ (one of his favorites.)

Great stuff.
I meant to leave comments at the piece on the LJ site. <http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=6360> It's one way we have of weighing the value of the items we publish. Right now there are no comments at all, making it look like a strike-out, not a home run.
More later... grabbing a few moments here on a Sunday morning with the kid hanging on my pants.

Terrorism or just a nut or a gang shooting. No one knows and they have not caught the guy whos out randomly shooting folks...it's anywhere in the DC region not just this area of Maryland.
So much for Homeland Security.
Larry looked like he has the fast boat on the water. Alnghi, the swiss boat may be a tad faster. When these two clash it will tell you whos done his homework.
