I believe WQDR was the first station consulted by Lee Abrams, who was then with Burkhardt-Abrams. Kent burkhardt did Top 40 and Lee did AOR — album oriented rock. I also believe Lee also coined that term, although the format had already been around in various forms. I also think he was 24 or so when he consulted QDR. Amazing. Lee is now the programming chief for XM Satellite Radio. There are responses to this message:
