Verizon, SBC, (big telcos) are moaning the the White House and Congress that opening their services to competiton is hurting them in the profit book. Aren't these the same guys that put Covad in Chapter 11, wiped out Rythmns, and North Point and pretty much own the DSL market? Maybe it's the cable cos that are the "threat" here. Remembering at the end of Tele-Tv, how this Hollywood style facility in Reston Va, was mothballed..Because they didn't get the biz...(I worked in that building at BAIS, but that's another story) (storys in the Post, it's Saturday's edition) and yes I am to lazy to post the link. I read the paper edition today.
