On Palm to Address Book: you should be able to export your Palm contacts as VCards. (I know that the latest Windows version of the Palm software supports this; haven't tried the Mac version.) Then you can import the VCards into Address Book. On iChat: if you're talking about the choice of screen name (AOL name or blah@mac.com name), it's not necessarily a lock-in choice. Even if you pick a mac.com name, you can still chat with people using AIM. However, there is a backward incompatibility with the mac.com addresses, because they contain the @ symbol and the earlier versions of the AIM client don't support screen names with @s. (And the clones like Fire can't support it either.) So for the greatest compatibility, use an AOL-supplied screen name -- you can get one from aim.aol.com. There are responses to this message:
