Control the sales process?
Are you friggin kidding me? After ranting on the possibilities of merging a Lockeish/Cluetrain dish dealing with our corp web site a sales guy said It just would not work (big suprise). He said giving the ability for potential clients to contact current ones would be a train wreck. I KNOW we have nothing to hide so I chided him further. He went. Control the sales process, he says. WTF? Are you serious? People actually think this is beneficial? (I have been in corp sales for 8 years. I know the games. They are games. Only, you are the only one having fun.)
