Talk about buzz
It amuses me that fellow journalists, and many others, are spending so much time and ink trying calling into question the validity of 'blogs. I see 'blogs as a form of self-expression that's good for everyone. Perhaps these people feel threatened? I don't believe that 'blogs are going to replace traditional media - many are, in fact, frequently inaccurate and too biased to provide good coverage. This doesn't mean that they don't make good reading, but they're not a replacement for traditional journalism. They're a worthy endeavour, however, if for no other reason than they give any person a taste of the freedom of the press and the ability to make their voice heard. How many more 'blog attacks are we going to be subjected to, I wonder?
