Re: blogcruise
The cruise industry does operate with windows for canceling your cruise, with penalties applying as the departure date approaches. Since this is the Beta test of the new system, there will be no seminar fee for the blogger track, since I expect the bloggers to help beta test the entire ship, blogging in the Bahamas. This will be the first time the Explorer of the Seas goes live with a ship wide Wi-Fi network. With Geek cruises, we Beta tested the WLAN with LINUX Lunacy on the Maasdam, and then Beta tested WLAN with Internet access on PERL Whirl on the Veendam. With MAC Mania we went live on the Volendam, so we have the Holland America ships site surveyed enough to continue offering the service. Before I (MOUStech.NET, LLC) sign with Royal Caribbean for a long term commitment, they are going to permit a Beta test at sea, since the site surveys have been in port in Miami. Things happen when a ship leaves port, since the link is by MTN's satellite. I'll keep you updated as the project evolves.
