Hey Doc.. A few weeks ago I had the same deal with a camera I use at school. Somehow all the photos got erased... what a mess I was in! I put the SanDisk in its PC Card holder and found an undelete program. Surprisingly, there are very few out there that are free. After *much* searching, I found Drive Rescue. This little baby saved every single photo on my card. What a relief!! I couldn't find any Linux programs to do this, I don't know about Mac ones. Good luck!
