I don't feel this way, but someone I know has recently moved to the US from Afghanistan and he says that there was some good that came out of the 9/11 attacks. 3000 people died, but 20 million people gained their freedom from the Taliban. So, if you lived in Afghanistan right now you might be pretty happy that the attacks happened. The guy who told me this, though, admitted that 9/11 was a very sad day for humanity, though. But, he did help me see that there's a perspective I might not consider given that I'm a white guy living in America. There are responses to this message:
