On the sky again
| | I fly back home today. Then it's two solid days of nothing but seasonal paperwork. Arg. |
Discovery Unbound
| | The Yale Law School, incubator of many presidents and other lawmakers, has the LawMeme blog. Outstanding. |
| | If Silicon Valley senses anything, it is that they need better lobbyists to prevent things like the CBDTPA. |
| | Hmm... maybe one of these lawbloggers could help out Jeff & friends, below. |
Lights, keyboards, action
| | Remember about a month ago when the CARP report so totally pissed me off that I proposed a march on Washington? I did it both here and in my SuitWatch newsletter for Linux Journal. The idea was to deliver clues in a polite but massive way to lawmakers and regulators, too many of whom are either determined to throttle the Net or unaware of why that's a bad idea. |
| | Well, Jeff Gerhardt of The Linux Show decided to start GeekPAC: the first geek political action committee. There's much more than I have time or space to describe here, but hey, that's what links are for. |
| | Jeff's doing a Good Thing here, and I suggest we get behind it in a constructive way. For example, do you know any lawyers experienced in creating political action committees and stuff like that? Write to geekpac@thelinuxshow.com. |
