Connect the dots and see the bird
| | Microsoft patented the DRMOS Digital Rights Management Operating System (# 6,330,670) last December. When was it Bill started talking about "security" and "trustwrothy computing," hmm? And now we have Senators Hollings, et. al., floating the CBDTPA "To regulate interstate commerce in certain devices by providing for private sector development of technological protection measures to be implemented and enforced by Federal regulations to protect digital content and promote broadband as well as the transition to digital television, and for other purposes." |
| | Thanks to Linux & Main for connecting the dots. And to my friend Jim at Musenki for pointing to L&M. |
| | Now I really am off, flying on 1.5 hour's sleep. Maybe I'll run into this guy in Seattle. |
Making like a baby
| | I'm heading out in a few hours. The plane leaves at 6 something. |
| | It's Seattle for the next couple of days. Salt Lake City after that. Then home in a week. |
Approaching the speed of duh in a vacuum
| | A method to transmit and receive electromagnetic waves which comprises generating opposing magnetic fields having a plane of maximum force running perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the magnetic field; generating a heat source along an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the magnetic field; generating an accelerator parallel to and in close proximity to the heat source, thereby creating an input and output port; and generating a communications signal into the input and output port, thereby sending the signal at a speed faster than light. |
| | It gets worse. Or better, depending: |
| | The present invention has discovered the apparent existence of a new dimension capable of acting as a medium for RE signals. Initial benefits of penetrating this new dimension include sending RF signals faster than the speed of light, extending the effective distance of RF transmitters at the same power radiated, penetrating known RF shielding devices, and accelerating plant growth exposed to the by-product energy of the RF transmissions. |
| | The following describes, in simple terms, what the present invention actually does. The present invention takes a transmission of energy, and instead of sending it through normal time and space, it pokes a small hole into another dimension, thus, sending the energy through a place which allows transmission of energy to exceed the speed of light. |

"...and accelerating plant growth exposed to the by-product energy of the RF transmissions." In 2001, through the use of advanced hydroponics and the Hyper-light speed antenna (HLSA) our research team here at White Cedar Farms demonstrated a method for culturing tofu simultaneous with field preparation in advance of planting soybeans. We modeled an experiment comparing organic farming methods and the Monsanto certified "Round-up Ready" seeds. Surprisingly, we found no difference in the production volumes in our tofu cultured from the two different plots. Later that summer, drought conditions were deemed the apparent cause of our earlier tofu shortage. The questionable results of that simple experiment led us to enlarge the lab space and kick up the energy inputs to our HLSA until now we have tofu from 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. 2004 looks like it will be a very good year for soybeans in the upper midwest, and we are planning to invest appropriately in the soybean futures market. UC Davis eonologists have adopted our methods and shared with us an excellent 2007 vintage cabernet sauvignon that they grew using HLSA methods pioneered here at White Cedar Farms.
