Great report. Thanks again, Bernie. By the way, the deal with the equator has less to do with solar storms than with the directional proximity of geosynchronous satellites to the Sun itself at mid-day. El Sol is rather bright with RF noise as well as light. So, when your dish is pointed at a bird in space and the Sun slides across the same view, it kinda crashes the party. I imagine solar storms don't help, either. In any case, there was no unusual solar activity today. Or all week. See: <http://www.sec.noaa.gov/SWN/>.
