Re: Friday, January 4, 2002
When Job's created his NextStep OS, based on the Carnegie-Mellon Mach kernel, the greatest project to come out of his Objective C environment was Burners-Lee creating, on a NeXT cube, at CERN, the foundations for the WWW. With years of research and marketing in between that success, I hope we see another technology advancement with the new OS X. Who would have anticipated the WWW when Jobs started promoting object oriented programming with NeXT? I expect what will happen next will be a surprise to most people, because technology is "magik." (Then in few years the money machine at Microsoft will learn from Jobs and improve its platform.)
