Heh. I use K-Meleon almost exclusively these days. Standards compliant, which means it works as well or better than IE except for a few brain-dead VBScript sites, starts up in under 1 sec. as opposed to 8-9 times that long for IE, and (tada!) doesn't suffer from that nasty misfeature you described.
