Hubris
How is stuff that shows up in plain daylight on the Web "buried?"
... This is hugely cynical and blind to the obvious.
This whole exchange brings out something I've noticed with increasing frequency. It seems like the people in the big media are the ones who most often miss the forest for the trees. Or rather, their Tree in particular. They keep looking at CNN, NYT, NBC, and they wail that there are no dissenting voices in the media.
Basically, they're consistently engaging in hubris. If it's not Big Media, it doesn't exist to them. And rather than go out and find the small media (not a difficult task, as you aptly demonstrate), they simply moan that there are no dissenting voices.
There are no dissenting voices in their playground. But outside the Big Media playground, it's a wide, wide web.
