I was afraid of that.
Howard has always pushed the behavioral envelope for talk radio, and has an amazing sense of where the lines he shouldn't cross really are.
When the planes were hitting the buildings on 9-11, I was impressed by Howard's (at least relatively) responsible leadership or what I heard of it, anyway. They carried it live on KLSX in Los Angeles.
Since then I've only listened for a minute or two at a time. Now that I no longer drive to work, there just isn't time to listen much any more.
If what you're saying is true, it's a real bummer. Maybe his hero Rudy Guilliani ought to give him a private call and tell him to back off.
