Think of it as a Cluelog
"Markets are conversations," we say with Thesis #1 of The Cluetrain Manifesto. When we wrote that, we didn't have a market, because we had nothing to sell.
Well, now we do. The Cluetrain Manifesto is now a book, due for release in January 2000. You can order it today at Amazon.com, and soon enough at equally virtual bookstores.
It would be in bad form for us not to talk with our own market, so here we are: doing something we should have done in the first place, and probably would have done if we weren't so busy writing the book and working on our day jobs.
But this isn't a sales vehicle. It's a way to start conversations about the stuff we all care about. The best conversation catches and spreads like fire. So think of our postings here as logs (yeah, Weblogs) we throw on that fire.
And we'll throw them on every time we run across something we think has suitably incendiary properties. Which might be every few minutes or at least every day. In any case, check back often.
The news will accumulate here, and archive somewhere behind the calendar on the home page. Each date is a link to that day's logs in The Past.
Welcome aboard.
