Month fire 

Thanks to this post from Robert Peake, I discovered that Inciweb not only has RSS feeds of its incidents (for fires and everything else), but Google Earth feeds as well.

Here's a link to the feed for the Day Fire incident, a 117,000+ acre wildfire that has gone on for most of September, and has consumed much of the Sespe Wilderness. (This fire perimeter map shows the wilderness, plus progress in fighting the fire.)

And, though it's not described that way, this is Inciweb's River of News for the Day Fire.

So I was wrong in what I wrote here, which is why it now has strike-throughs, and why that post now points back to this post for corrections.

So I can understand Jon Holden's questions here. My apologies to him and other folks at Inciweb.
