Vegas CES accommodations?
| | I'll be going to CES — the Consumer Electronics Show — in Las Vegas from January 5-8. All the hotels in the area appear to be full. The last two years I've had luck finding something on the outskirts of town that wasn't too expensive (most hotels have full-gouge prices for big trade shows); but not this time. |
| | The travel services — Travelocity, Orbitz, ITN, — all yield results when you search Las Vegas hotels for those dates, but when you click on hotels they say "We're sorry, there are no rooms at this hotel for your dates." Why bother to list them if there are no rooms available? AAArg. |
| | Not to mention that all of the sites are sssoooo freaking slow. |
| | So I'm asking for advice or leads here, while I'm on the road from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. |
