Food for re-thought
| | As Dave says about one of his sources (the great longshoreman philosopher Eric Hoffer), read the whole thing. |
No sooner said than done
Voiding the fill
P(l)odding forward
| | I just put up my first podcast, with show notes at my new podblog, which is also an experiment with Wordpress, which explains why what I've got so far is still mostly what comes defaulted with the program. The fact that it exists, and works at all, is due almost entirely to the major-league knowhow of Jim Thompson, who also got my daughter Colette going on her new blog. Both are at Searls.com, which appears to be back on the air again, after the domain name registration ran out yesterday. Credit also goes to Tony Steidler-Dennison, who provided guidance and inspiration, and who sold me the mike and mixer (both of which sound great) as well. |
| | One reason I had been holding off is that I wanted my first podcast to show up over at IT Garage. But we'll have plenty 'casting going on there soon enough (like, hopefully, this week). And meanwhile the kid has been bothering me to finally sit down in the studio that my office now appears to be, and put the new professional-looking boom mike and mixer to work. It's a short and glitchy 'cast, but it's not too bad, considering. Check it out. |
