Illumiruminations
| | Rode around Santa Barbara last night with the school's second grade and their parents. Had a blast yelling "Merry Christmas!" to all the locals who stand outside their decorated homes every night to wave and sing to folks (like us) on the tour trolleys. |
| | We were challenged by our driver/guide to yell MERRY CHRISTMAS louder than the folks in the other trolleys (about five of trolleys run every night). Some of us were yelling so loudly that I decided that, instead of saying the usual, I'd just go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!, kind of, like, channeling the late Sam Kinison. This cracked up the kids, which was cool. After two hours of riding around yelling MERRY CHRISTMAS at houses, it helps to, I dunno... bring in a little Halloween. |
