Boys hood
| | It's been a major treat to arrive in boston and discover a quorum of my North Carolina cuzzins there. In the picture are Paul, Mark and Eric Crissman, and Paul's son Stephen, who lives in Boston but will start law school at the University of North Carolina this Fall. It's fun admiring the resemblance of the father and uncles in the picture to the grandfather, Clinton S. Crissman, M.D., whom I eulogized in The Good Doctor, back in December 1999. |
| | We had a terrific evening walking the Freedom Trail, playing cards in a corner bar in the North End, dining in a perfect Italian restaurant and hopping bars after that. |
| | I'm late joining them today, starting with breakfast by the water under perfect blue skies. A great way to start a trip that's otherwise mostly about business. |
