Travel day
| | [Later...] While I'm sitting here on hold here at the airport in Denver, I thought I'd point to Geeks, Guitars and Guinness, where Ryan Skadberg today laments the absence of booth advice in Showtime, my column in the current Linux Journal (a good one: go buy it), where I praise the nonbooth virtues of BloggerCon, PopTech and the O'Reilly conferences, while offering ideas for improving conferences in general, which desperately need some kind of Moore's Law, since they've been doing the same-old since the Buddha was born. Sez Ryan, |
| | Overall, lots of great ideas, I just wish I could have seen some interesting ideas about the vendor part of the show. I'm always looking to make our booth more exciting and different. |
| | Okay, I've got a few, and I'll go add them to the comments section below the piece. |
| | Then it's back on the road again. |
