Warjacking
| | Here's how I get online now, when I'm staying at a place with no connectivity: I drive slowly down any randomly chosen suburban street with Macstumbler on, set to vocalize every hotspot it finds on my slo-mo wardrive. Since it makes a different sound for WEP'd and open access points, I pick an open one, stop and get on. Amazing how many open ones there are. I'm on one now, somewhere in Morgan Hill, CA. Giving thanks, of course. |
