Tech support questions 
| | I've got a friend over who seems to be having some problems. Maybe ya'll can help. |
| | She has a G4/800 Titanium laptop with OS X 10.1 (pre-Safari). |
| | 1) Most of her AOL incoming mail between June and yesterday disappeared. She's wondering if it's because she opened an "Instant Kiss" email and attachment that may have been a virus. I can't even begin to figure where AOL stores mail locally on her drive. The clients I'm familiar with all use mbox files that are easy to find and open with multiple clients. But AOL... I dunno. |
| | 2) Her Canon digital camera is recognized through its USB connection on other OS X boxes we have here (a G4/17-inch and a G4/500), but not on her unit. Missing device drivers? Not clear. |
