Breakfast at tippingpoint
| | Hanging with Loic of Ublog (where JY also works) at the W in San Francisco on my way back south. So many huge topics, so little time. |
| | And a whole world to change, too. Exciting stuff. |
Wardriving home
| | I'm on the road again today, with the laptop listening for wi-fi again (thanks to the new car power adapter). On the way up two days ago, I was amazed how many signals were out there along the roadside, some in the middle of nowhere. But I failed to save the session file, so there isn't much more I can say about that trip. Today may be different. |
Antler list?
| | There's an offline email tread about sexism and blogging. Seems the A in A-list stands for "antlers." At least in some cases we boy bloggers have a tendency to point mostly to each other, the story goes. |
| | Normally I'm annoyed by what I perceive as political correction; but I think there's a there to their concerns. So I'll be paying a little more attention to the subject, starting by asking women who aren't in the thread (you know who you are) if you've been making the same observation. |
Spectator blogging
| | While he blogs, I sit across the desk, answering emails. |
| | I've called blogging "email in public." Maybe emailing is "blogging in private." Or blogging for one. |
