Had to happen
| | The Hot or Not guys have finally done it: |
| | Thanks to Ted for the link. |
Blovariables
| | The myelin blogging ecosystem is now past 9,000 blogs. Like Google, it values linkage: Most linked is "what other people think of you" and Most prolific linkers is "what you think of other people." I think those may be a bit more interprative than the list requires. |
| | I'm thinking we need more felicitous nouns here, like "blinkor" (for a blog linker) and "blinkee" (for a blog linkee). |
| | In any case, it's interesting to me that this pays no attention to traffic. I mean, hey, Glenn Reynolds got something like 200,000 visits on 9/11, and I got about 1/100th of that. But we're about tied on both lists in the blogging ecosystem. |
Wrong rights?
| | We have a right to all works of the human mind; they belong by right to all mankind. |
| | ...But before I go down the judgement path, I need to take time to follow Timothy down the paths of his own understanding (more well-informed than mine, clearly), and I don't have that time right now. |
Bloggin' the tube
| | Rich Hall on George W. Bush on Letterman a few seconds ago: "He named his dog spot. Spot. The dog doesn't even have a spot." |
Wait watching
| | I started exercising right after last Thanksgiving, when I hit 187 pounds, it says here. Dieting too. Failed at both. |
| | I still weighed 187 about a month ago. I was down to 176 by the end of August. Yesterday I was a few ounces over 171. |
More Lessig
| | It's not in my constitution to be optimistic, but if only msft would become as you hope. Talk about a legacy. Remember, it was Sony that defended the vcr, before they became a content company. |
| | I knew there was something I liked about Sony. (Besides, y'know, my TV, my camcorder, my recording walkman, my all-band radio, my other all-band radio, my mini-CD player and other stuff like that.) |
