| | Took awhile with Friday traffic and all, but I got back okay. I always enjoy the drive down 101 from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. It's beautiful, the landscape varies constantly, and it's almost infinitely nicer than the far more familiar and ruler-straight I-5, which is the default choice for driving between San Francisco and L.A. |
| | After dinner we went out to Aqua Blue, a terrific restaurant for which there seems to be no reference on the Web. The kid was so wasted he ate about three bites of spaghetti and fell asleep on the floor. |
