Bloggers' get-together, London, tonight
| | Okay, we (Ben, mostly) just decided it'll be Garlic & Shots (on Dean Street, Soho, opposite Ronnie Scotts). Make it 7pm. |
| | No need to be a blogger by the way. |
| | The only plan, which I just made up, is to raise some pints for Dave, whom John tells us is in the hospital. A big hug from across the world, big guy. |
| | [Later...] We had an AWESOME time. It rocked. I've got so much to talk about and no time or space to do it, but... well, it was perfect. Just perfect. |
| | Now: back home. Next you'll hear from me I'll be back in California. To Ben, Anna, Lance, Matt (I have time for too few links) Inma, Yoz and everybody else, huge thanks. |
Felicitous cosmic events, cont'd
| | So this morning before my talk I'm sitting at Petite Delice again. Ben just came over (he saw some traffic on the base station, which he watches like a fisherman eyes a line in the water), and we've been joined by Inma Martinez, who's in the j-game as well. Now there's a photo shoot going on at the cafe, and we've been sent across the street. I'm typing this on the hood of a car while Ben and Inma talk deep wireless trash. |
| | Aside: it's a sunny, absolutely perfect day. |
| | And get this::: the USA beat Mexico at football (news Ben delivered). Verrry cool. I've been caught up in football madness here, and it's nice to know the Yanks are still alive. |
| | Now Inma is talking to me about Bucks Woodside. Small virtual world, no? |
