Go play in the pile, kids
Today is a huge work/catch-up day. Since yesterday included an uncommon sum of words, including some really important shit, I suggest you read down through those posts. And check the Linux Journal (and Suitwatch look for May 16) pages, where some fresh stuff should be coming up soon.
Reducing brick walls to speed bumps
Crashes are almost nice in OS X. The OS just told me my browser had unexpectedly quit, and a utility called Console opened a window with a detailed technical report on the event. Life went on. Not bad.
And on Subaru...
Just got in. Grooved half the trip to some of the best radio I've ever heard, from KOTR/94.9, KCBX/90.1/89.9, and something called The West (KWSZ) on 105.1.
One result: I have to pick up a CD or two of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Holy shit, do they cook. Great music to drive by. After drumming the dashboard 'till my hands hurt, I found an old chromatic harmonica in the glove compartment and jammed with the band. I sucked, but they had no idea. Left me in almost too good a mood to sleep.
