Fat air
| | I'm in my third room at this conference, and I haven't been off the Net yet. I'm getting a nice strong signal everywhere. And lemme tell ya, it's great to be able to use the Web as a library while somebody-or-other speaks about whatever. |
| | For example, in the last meeting Bradley Kuhn of the FSF said "I have Richard Stallman's Ear," and Denise Cooper of Sun said "Yuck!" Later I was able to find out far more about Bradley (look, he has hair in his picture!) and Denise than I'd ever get from their business cards or their conference badges. |
Egosystem
| | So I'm sitting in the Open Source Summit, a quotariat of open source luminaries gethered at the O'Reilly Open Source Conference, just grooving on the fact that my Titanium's 802.11b card finally works, courtesy of Tim O'Reilly, who has one too and showed me the way. |
| | Best one-word one-liner of the day is the headline above, which somebody thought I was talking about when I said I liked the term "ecosystem." |
