Toward a better yak
| | Interesting to find better (and far more brief) conversation about the Mundie Matter here than in the partisan email list I'm on. Witness this, this and this. (I'm sure there's a whole-thread view, but I can't bring it up.) |
Clubbing
| | I'm in United's new Red Carpet Club in SFO's new International Terminal. Makes the old one look like a Trailways station. Nice touch: you can plug into both power and a phone jack from any of the countless seats spread around the lounge, as well as in the hive of maple carels on the far side of the three giant Sony flat-screen TVs. Unfortunately, the whole place is in the back end of one of those analog circuits that won't let you get more than 26.4kbps on a 56k modem. How about an 802.11b wireless setup, guys? That would be the way to go (at least for the growing number of us who pack wireless Ethernet cards). |
The cure for bloggorhea
| | I'll be on four planes over the next 28 hours, then tunneling toward this Media Relations keynote in D.C. Expect thin blogging for a while. |
