Linkless in Manhattan
Almost a lost day, blogwise. Two hours of sleep then on a plane from one coast to the other. The whole way I tried to come up with something coherent to write for Embedded Linux Journal with no sources, no Net connection and no sleep. I finally got inspired in the back of the cab from the airport, and wrote most of it between JFK and midtown Manhattan. Sent it in, changed into something warm, went out to dinner with friends and just got buried by 100 emails. A light load, actually.
I checked briefly at Kuro5hin and see there are now 88 responses to an essay of mine that went up there yesterday. Can't believe how many people actually think cognitive linguistics is "obvious", but hey. Lots of bright people hanging out over there.
Whoa! I just checked Scripting News. Really nice to see Dave digging Craig Burton's thinking. Craig now has a blog, I see. Cool!
Gotta crash.
