May your new year not suck I missed yesterday. Worked right through it. The piece is about ten kilowords long and needs to be six. Got four hours of sleep and an idea in the shower about how to pack it down. While mulling the whole idea of Why Operating Systems Suck, I revisited a line an Eric Raymond tossed off: There's an inverse relationship between hackability and suckage. Looked up "suckage" with the "I'm feeling lucky" button on Google and went straight to the Stuff that Sucks page at the ShugaShack blog. Got my morning laughs and now it's back to the brain mill.
