It used to be if we wanted to get information about a product, we were forced to go on bended knees to the company. Then they'd send some glossy brochures that put things in their best light, lied whenever possible. Now the glossy brochures are online or printed and they are recognized as the worst source of information precisely because they're biased and inflated and, quite often, totally meaningless.
